Filipino flyweight contender Danny Kingad punched his ticket to the final of the ONE flyweight grand prix with an entertaining win over Australian Reece McLaren. He’ll face Demetrious Johnson in the final at “ONE: Century” later this summer.
Former UFC and Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez produced the comeback performance of the night as he recovered from almost being finished by former two-time ONE lightweight champ Eduard Folayang to submit his man after a rollercoaster of a one-rounder and book his place in the ONE lightweight grand prix final.
And the ONE flyweight muay Thai world title changed hands after Thailand’s young star Rodtang Jitmuangnon outpointed Britain’s Jonathan Haggerty over five action-packed rounds to claim the belt.
