One car recovered from West Lothian showroom theft

Police investigating the theft of three cars from a West Lothian showroom have recovered one of them.

The black Audi A3 (registration SP65 GBX) was recovered from outside an address in the Wishaw area of Lanarkshire on the evening of Wednesday (April 10) and inquiries remain ongoing.

The vehicles were taken from Calder Motor Company’s showroom in East Calder on Tuesday (April 9).

Detective Constable Andrew Young of Livingston’s Criminal Investigation Department said: “This was a high value theft and we are eager to trace those responsible as soon as possible.

“I would ask anyone who was in the Camps Industrial Estate area in the early hours of Tuesday, April 9, and saw anything suspicious, to contact police at their earliest convenience.”

Still missing are a white Audi RS3 (registration number YF65 XLP) and a black Audi S3 (registration number GU63 NGN).

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two missing vehicles is urged to contact Livingston CID via 101 uregently, quoting incident number 0634 of April 9.
