VIJAYAWADA: An attempt to murder case was reported and one person arrested at Vuyyuru market centre on Monday after the accused stabbed a man.
The accused has been identified as Shaik Abdullah Sherif (47), who runs a hardware shop. According to police, in 2018, Shaik Sharukh (20) and his family had a dispute with a friend of the accused over a family matter. Since then, Sharukh would visit the accused’s shop and verbally abuse him.
On Monday, an aggrieved Sherif assaulted Sharukh.
