A man in his 30s has been arrested after gardai seized cannabis estimated to be worth over €130,000 in Tallaght.
The seize was made as part of an operation by gardai attached to the Tallaght District Drugs Unit.
Two men were intercepted in the Brookview Estate in Tallaght this afternoon.
Suspected cannabis, estimated to be worth €135,000 was seized and one man was arrested.
A garda spokesman said: "During the course of a search Cannabis Herb (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €135,000 was seized.
"One male in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996 in relation to this investigation. Investigations are continuing."
