Once We Were by Kat Zhang - review

Once We Were by Kat Zhang

A dystopian book where hybrids (two souls trapped within one body) are hunted and outlawed. Addie and Eva are in hiding but when a chance to join a rebellious underground group comes, they take the chance and soon become trapped in the escalating violence.

The two souls are clashing over more and more things, will they be torn apart forever in the chaos if they don't stop soon? This book is the second in the series and slightly difficult to understand if you haven't read the first book so I suggest you read the whole series in order!

The chapters are fairly short and are easy to read for teenagers who may not particularly like reading or find it easy. I would suggest it to people in their early teens (12-15) because it is packed with action and is very different to other dystopian books.
