Aaron Hickey has finally completed his protracted move from Hearts to Bologna after months of speculation.
The teenager, whose signing was confirmed with an eye-catching announcement video, joins the Italian club for an undisclosed feee rumoured to be around the £1.5m mark.
He could make his debut on Monday when I Rossoblu face Parma after the move was held up while the results of a coronavirus test were ratified
The 18-year-old turned down Bayern Munich, Celtic and a host of English sides to seal the transfer to Serie A, with Hearts wishing him "every success" as he prepares to match up with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo.
But dozens of Hearts fans joked about the length of time it took to confirm the deal.
