On track? We were never off it says Nottingham Forest star

Joe Worrall does not believe Nottingham Forest are back on track after their win against Luton Town - because they were never off it.

The Reds were beaten by Hull and Wigan before seeing the visit of Reading postponed as they slipped down to 10th in the Championship.

However, the 2-1 victory at Kenilworth Road on Saturday took them back up to fifth ahead of facing arch-rivals Derby County this weekend.

Momentum would appear to be on their side again, but central defender Worrall does not believe it was lost with Forest having been second on goal difference heading into the last international break.

"It was never off track. We've done really well," he said.

"We were top of the league after nine games. There's shock results all over the place. Results seem to be going our way.

"We've get a game in hand now and I don't think we play Reading until January. We're stuck a game behind which could be good or bad.

"Like the manager always says, it's about the next day, the next training session or even the next gym session.

"We have to look towards that. We're all on the same page and everything is coming together nicely."
