As expected, the complaint against David Blunkett over rail tickets the former home secretary gave to Kimberly Quinn has been upheld. At midday we'll hear Sir Alan Budd's ruling on the more serious allegation that he fast-tracked a visa application for his then lover's nanny. Guardian Unlimited Politics will have full coverage and the text of the rulings.

Tony Blair is in Iraq en route to Jerusalem to try to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. We'll be reporting on his press conference in Baghdad, and Ian Black will be assessing what the prime minister can hope to achieve in his two-day visit.
