The world's largest passenger jet, the Airbus A380, is being unveiled in Toulouse today to great fanfare, in the presence of a clutch of European leaders including Jacques Chirac and Tony Blair. The superjumbo will be able to carry up to 800 passengers, or fewer if it is fitted out with all the on-board shops, casinos, gyms, cinemas and double beds being mentioned by the likes of Virgin boss Richard Branson.
