The Russian gas monopoly Gazprom today restored supplies to Europe as Ukrainian and Russian energy officials resumed talks over a pricing dispute. Russia has accused Ukraine of stealing gas intended for the European market after supplies to Ukraine were cut when Kiev refused to pay a fourfold price increase imposed by Moscow.
