The Outer Worlds 2 has been, well, out of this world. It's a game we've been following closely – as you may have noticed with our reams of interviews throughout our The Outer Worlds 2 Big Preview earlier in the year – but that's also meant it's carried some high expectations. Considering developer Obsidian Entertainment made the legendary Fallout: New Vegas, how could it not?
Which is why we were so thrilled that The Outer Worlds 2 didn't just live up to those expectations, but surpassed them. It's easily become one of the best RPGs we'd recommended playing at the moment, simply thanks to how playful it is on every level. Following our review, we've put the time into really dissecting what works so well in this RPG, from talking to the development team at Obsidian Entertainment to placing it in the context of a genre that's close to our hearts.
