On the campaign trail: share your pictures

It's election campaign time in Australia, and the pollies are heading out to meet the people before the big day on 7 September. Leaflets are hitting letterboxes, campaigners are hitting the streets, and the rhetoric is ramping up.

We want to see who's doing what near you. Who's donning protective headgear and hi-vis vests to visit a factory floor, then tucking into Iced VoVos at a community forum? Who's turning up unexpectedly at the surf club sausage sizzle with an earnest expression and a set of talking points?

Share your campaign trail sights and sounds with us through GuardianWitness, by clicking on the "contribute to this article" button, and we'll feature the best ones on the site in the run-up to the election.

  • GuardianWitness is the home of user-generated content on the Guardian. Contribute your video, pictures and stories, and browse news, reviews and creations submitted by others. Posts will be reviewed prior to publication on GuardianWitness, and the best pieces will feature on the Guardian site.
