Scottsdale, Arizona-based ON Semiconductor Corporation (ON) provides intelligent sensing and power solutions in the United States and internationally. With a market cap of $24.7 billion, the company operates through three segments: Power Solutions Group, Analog and Mixed-Signal Group, and Intelligent Sensing Group. The company is poised to announce its fiscal Q2 2025 earnings results on Monday, Aug. 4.
Ahead of this event, analysts expect the company to report an adjusted EPS of $0.53, down 44.8% from $0.96 in the same quarter last year. The company has surpassed Wall Street's bottom-line estimates in three of the past four quarters, while missing on another occasion.

On May 5, ON Semiconductor shares tumbled 8.4% following the release of its Q1 2025 results. The semiconductor components maker posted revenue of $1.45 billion in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Moreover, its adjusted EPS for the quarter came in at $0.55, exceeding the consensus estimates by 7.8%. Looking ahead, the company expects its earnings to range from $0.48 per share to $0.58 per share and its revenue to be in the range of $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion for Q2.
Wall Street analysts are moderately optimistic about ON’s stock, with an overall "Moderate Buy" rating. Among 32 analysts covering the stock, 13 recommend "Strong Buy," two suggest a “Moderate Buy,” 16 indicate a “Hold,” and one suggests a “Strong Sell.” As of writing, the stock is trading above its mean price target of $54.33.
