On-loan Hibs 'keeper Kevin Dabrowski puts in Man of the Match performance against Hearts

On-loan Hibs ‘keeper Kevin Dabrowski impressed on his seocnd outing for Cowdenbeath with a man of the match performance against city rivals Hearts.

The Tynecastle side won the match 2-0 thanks to first half goals from Craig Hlakett and Anthony McDonald.

But the big Pole – real name Maciej – produced a fine display, preventing Conor Washington, McDonald and Aidan Keena from adding any more goals, his save from the latter being a particular highlight.

Dabrowski is on loan at Central Park from Easter Road until the end of the season, and boss Gary Bollan hopes last night was a sign of what’s to come between now and May.

"It was a great performance from Kevin,” he said after the game.

"He’s here to learn the game, he wants to stick out against Hearts as well, being a Hibee!

"In all seriousness, his performance was superb and hopefully he can continue that throughout the season.”

His display also drew praise from Hearts boss Craig Levein, who thought Dabrowski played well in addition to his side being wasteful in front of goal.
