'On fire' - Stuart Broad reserves praise for Nottingham Forest hotshot Joe Lolley

Notts bowler Stuart Broad found the time in his busy schedule to catch up with Nottingham Forest's 3-1 win over Luton Town - and even fired off some praise to a special someone.

After the match, Broad tweeted the following:

"Lovely result to walk off the field to, Joe Lolley on fire!"

Why wasn't the Forest fan around to witness the 3-1 win against Luton? Well - he had the small occasion of an England vs South Africa test match to attend to!

That duty meant that the England cricketer missed out on an inspired Joe Lolley performance. The forward put Luton to the sword after the Hatters took the lead, with Lolley scoring either side of half-time to give his team the lead. Lewis Grabban finished off the match with a late penalty.

Joe Lolley on fire indeed. He caught Simon Sluga out with a low shot before damning any thought out tactics by Luton with a classy corner finish. While he couldn't quite match Broad's trio against South Africa, Lolley came up trumps with his two goals and provided the difference for Forest.

The forward's brace against Luton takes him to six goals on the season - with three scored in his last three league games. The brace also allowed Lolley to pick up the man of the match award - an accolade that he coined as the 'Sky Sports Jack Colback Award'
