I'm no stranger to cute cafes with their sweet treats and adorable aesthetics, and while I'm not exactly the target demographic for such places, I don't mind enjoying a dessert or two while I soak in the kawaii vibe and atmosphere. Therefore, as I stepped into Cotton Clouds with its pinkish charm and fluffy cotton cloud lamps, I was in for a very sweet treat.
Located in Sukhumvit 26's The Twenty Six community centre, as the name and theme suggests, Cotton Clouds' small space lets you feel like you've walked into a dream land up in the clouds and you're here to fulfil your sweet tooth cravings. Focus seems to be on colourful drinks but there are also desserts.
I went for the Cheesecake Frappé (B130), which was super duper sweet and filled to the brim with soft and chunky cheesecake bits. The whipped cream on top of the vanilla drink is complemented with sprinkles of red velvet and a biscuit. If you wanted to eat a cheesecake in liquid form then go for it. The Chocolate Mint Milk (B105), which is served in small, bowl-shaped cup, was quite refreshing with its minty aftertaste, however its small serving leaves a lot to be desired. However, the best of the bunch would have to be the tall order of the Rainbow Milk (B130), which comes in all sorts of colours and is topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Pro tip: quickly take a photo before all the colours disappear into the drink and you're left with just a regular looking milkshake.

From the desserts, the waffles with ice-cream (B189), which comes in four slices is best shared with others. But like so many cafes in the city, the waffles aren't anything special. There's also the Dipping Doughnut (B189), which comes in several bite-sized pieces. The condensed milk, which comes with the order give the doughnuts a lot more flavour with just the right amount of sweet. It would have tasted too plain without it as you dip the confectionery into your choice of sauce. Both dishes give you a choice between milk or chocolate ice-cream and three sauces -- milk, chocolate and strawberry. However, you can change the topping to fluffy whipped cream if you like, which adds a lot of customisation.
Unfortunately, at the time of review the cafe was lacking certain ingredients, therefore I was unable to sample some drinks on the menu that were pure eye candy. I would have loved to try their Angel Fizz drink with its gigantic candyfloss on top. That would have definitely been an IG-worthy pic as so many people feel inclined to do so these days when it comes to treats that are visually pleasing.
Apart from their menu, you could also go to their counter and grab-and-go smaller treats from Nutella brownies (B159) and marble cakes (B55) to banoffees (B129) and cornflake cookies (B30). I took a quick bite of their heart-shaped I Peach You (B189) jelly cake, which proved to be super soft like how it would feel to chew on a cloud.

You'll definitely get high from the sugar rush up on Cotton Clouds here. Overall, I tend to think that the cafe is more about the aesthetics than the menu itself. If you're looking for another cafe to chill out around the busy Sukhumvit area and get some awesome social media pics then Cotton Clouds is a dream away.
