Omicron variant: Delhi LG instructs officials to ensure strict Covid appropriate behavior

NEW DELHI: Delhi lieutenant governor Anil Baijal on Saturday instructed the chief secretary, police commissioner and officials concerned to ensure strict adherence to Covid appropriate behaviour in public places and functions.

He also asked them to ensure full preparedness in hospitals to handle any emergent situation amid rising concerns over a new Covid variant "Omicron" detected in South Africa.
