Health chiefs in Ayrshire are ramping up their Covid booster drive in a bid to ward off the new Omicron variant.
People aged 30 and over can now go online to book their booster appointment.
A website allows booking at a local clinic which you can now get three months (12 weeks) after your second dose.
It comes as cases of the new Omicron variant continue to increase across the county.
People age 18 to 29 will be invited to book appointments soon.
Lynne McNiven, public health director at NHS Ayrshire & Arran, said: "Our booster programme is well underway and we have delivered 158,119 booster or third COVID-19 vaccine doses locally already since the end of September.
"But we need to move even faster.
“People in their 30s are eligible for booster and they can book on to the system now.
"Log on to the portal and book to a local clinic just as soon as you can – there is capacity at venues throughout Ayrshire.
"Keep clicking through the dates on the calendar to find available appointments on the system.
"If you don’t have access to the internet, please call the national helpline on 0800 030 8013 to get your appointment arranged.
“It may be that we are able to offer short notice drop-in clinics for COVID-19 boosters over the coming days and weeks.
"Look out for details on these on our social media channels.
“Our staff are working round the clock to roll out the vaccine programme – the single largest public health programme ever delivered.
"Every vaccine given is a step toward protecting our communities from this virus.
"Please take the chance to get the booster as coronavirus can be severe at any age.”
Health chiefs said clinics with additional capacity in Ayrshire are coming on stream regularly.
