OMD tickets for Liverpool shows as band set for Merseyside return

Three years since their last two-night sell-out show at the Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - to give OMD their full title - are back in town for two more nights.

Actually make that three - but you can forget about attending the intimate 350 capacity Future Yard in October. OMD's first appearance as a two piece in Birkenhead for 42 years sold out in minutes.

An Empire show on November 21 sold out too, hence another appearance from the Wirral's enduring synth pop pioneers at the Eventim Apollo on November 23.

It's the climax of the nationwide 'Architecture & More' tour and will include songs from OMD's iconic album ‘Architecture & Morality’, plus many more hits from their legendary back catalogue.

OMD have sold 25 million singles and 15 million albums since they were branded "the future of pop" by Tony Wilson in 1978.

Forty-three years on and they are still recording, still pressing best selling albums and still selling out shows.

Tickets are on sale now here and at Ticketmaster.
