Omar Elabdellaoui makes transfer confession as Celtic linked full back has 'massive' signing opportunity

Norway skipper Omar Elabdellaoui, has revealed he's received offers from a clutch of European big-hitters after confirming he will leave Olympiacos imminently.

Celtic linked with a move for the former Manchester City star, who can play right back and right midfield, last summer and in January.

Elabdellaoui is about to captain runaway-leaders and unbeaten Olympiacos to the Greek title but he will depart the once they complete their Europa League Round of 16, second leg tie with Wolves in August.

But he's on the lookout for a new challenge and the 28-year-old already attracted plenty of interest.

He said: "I will sign a small extension so I can complete the league season and play in Europe in August, then leave.

"I'm open to where my next move will be. My priority is to play at a high level and be at a club with European football.

"It goes without saying there are quite a few opportunities for me."

And Elabdeallaoui's agent, Mikail Adampour, has revealed talks are already in progress with clubs.

He said: "We are in dialogue with many teams in Europe. Omar is captain of both club and his national team and has led the only team

in Europe so far undefeated in the league and well on his way to taking his fourth title success.

"He is playing the best football of his career and the interest in him is massive."
