
Oman registered on Sunday 85 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 2,568.
The Health Ministry said 21 of the new cases were detected in Omani nationals.
It added that 750 patients have so far recovered and 12 have died.
It urged the people to respect preventive measures and leave home only if necessary.
In Kuwait, 364 new COVID-19 infections were detected in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 4,983.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad as saying that there were five new deaths, upping the toll to 38.
The UAE’s Health Ministry said Sunday it has conducted 26,000 additional tests, resulting in the detection of 564 new cases from various nationalities and bringing the total number of infections in the country to 14,163.
The Ministry also announced the death of seven patients due to complications arising from COVID-19 disease, bringing the toll to 126.
