Oman Reports 1,010 New COVID-19 Cases, 7 Deaths

Oman's Ministry of Health said it registered 1,010 new COVID-19 cases raising the total number of positive cases to 40, 070.

Of the newly reported cases, 776 were Omanis and 234 were of non-Omani residents.

The Sultanate also recorded seven new deaths, taking the total toll to 176.

According to ministry, a total of 3,121 people tested for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, it said that 1, 003 patients recovered from the virus, taking the total recoveries from the disease to 23, 425 in Oman.
