Oman, Qatar Report More Coronavirus Cases

Oman registered on Saturday 404 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 5,029.

The health ministry said 67 of the new infections were detected among Omanis.

It reported 20 new fatalities and 1,436 recoveries.

Meanwhile, Qatar's number of coronavirus infections topped 30,000 on Saturday, according to a Reuters tally based on official figures.

The health ministry reported 1,547 new cases on Saturday,according to the state-run Qatar News Agency. That took the cumulative total to 30,972, according to the Reuters count.
