Oman’s minister in charge of foreign affairs Yusuf bin Alawi held talks in Ramallah on Wednesday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's surprise visit to the Gulf sultanate.
Alawi delivered to Abbas a letter from Oman's Sultan Qaboos about Netanyahu’s visit last week, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
It gave no further details on their discussions in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
Abbas had visited Oman in the days before Netanyahu's trip.
On Sunday, Arye Shalicar, an adviser to Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz, said that Katz will travel to Oman to participate in an international transportation conference.
