Oman’s health ministry has issued a license to import the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech against the novel coronavirus, the sultanate’s state-run TV channel said on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Oman confirmed it will exempt nationals of 103 counties from needing an entry visa for a stay of up to 10 days, in a move to support tourism and shore up its struggling economy.
The country has reported 126,504 infections and 1,472 deaths.
