Oman Imposes Curfew From Sunday to Combat COVID-19

Oman will impose a curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, state media reported on Thursday.

The curfew will last until April 8 as the country tightens restrictions to curb a rise in coronavirus cases.

No movement will be allowed during those times and an evening ban on all commercial activities imposed on March 1 will be extended.

The Sultanate reported 15,3838 positive cases on Thursday, while the number of recoveries stood at 14,0766.

Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 related death cases stood at 1650, according the Ministry of Health said.
