Oman Announces 1,072 New Virus Cases

Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 1,072 new coronavirus cases, bringing the tally in the Sultanate to 46,178.

Among the new cases, 799 are Omani nationals while the rest are foreigners.

The Ministry said that the country had also registered 213 deaths from the COVID-19 disease.

So far 27,917 patients have recovered from the virus in Oman, it added.
