The PSNI is investigating after shots were fired at a house while a woman and two children were inside.
The incident happened at a house in Clonmore Gardens in Omagh, Co Tyrone , at around 6pm on Wednesday.
The shots were fired through the kitchen and upstairs bedroom window.
A PSNI spokesman said: "A woman and two children, who were inside the house at the time, were not injured but were left badly shaken.
"This was a reckless attack on a family home with no regards to the lives of those inside or anyone living nearby."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
