Om Burger in Stokes Croft to offer 50% off for first month

A new vegan burger restaurant opening in Bristol will offer diners 50 per cent off throughout October.

Om Burger is the second venue headed up by the team behind Burger Theory, which is one of Bristol's most popular burger bars.

To mark its arrival in Stokes Croft in October, the restaurant will give diners the chance to sample its grub with a half price discount throughout its first month.

All people need to do to take advantage of the welcome offer is sign up to Om Burger's newsletter on the restaurant's website.

About Om Burger

As well as delicious burgers, Om Burger will offer breakfast options and side dishes including dirty fries, as well as fresh juice, craft beers, slushies and more to wash the food down.

The restaurant, which was formerly the Touch of Class hair salon, will have space for nearly 50 diners inside and a further 10 outside.

Produce will be sourced locally and no plastic packaging will be used.

After establishing Burger Theory as one of the city's best burger joints, owners Nick Makin and Rory Perriment wanted a "fresh challenge" by launching a plant-based follow-up.

"Over the years at Burger Theory, we have loved getting creative with vegetarian and vegan cuisine," said Rory.

"The challenge of creating flavour, taste, and texture with only vegetables is lots of fun, and in an ever-changing world, it has become more and more important to us to do our bit.

"We wanted to progress the business in a more ethical direction and felt that our vegetarian cuisine deserved its own home!

"Om Burger has been a year in the making and it’s been an exciting journey. I really hope people love what we do."

Nick added: "We both love a fresh challenge and this one is definitely going to be fresh. In the time I have been a part of Burger Theory I have become a dad of two very wonderful children, who myself and my partner are raising on a vegetarian diet until they can decide what they think is best.

"We are doing this not because we necessarily want them to be vegetarian, but so they are very aware of their food choices they will have to make in life and the impact this has on the world.

"Therefore, for me not only is this significant for us as a business but also personally."

An exact opening date has not yet been revealed by Nick and Rory. Om Burger will also be available on Deliveroo and Uber Eats after its launch.
