Olympic Wrestling champ Saori Yoshida announces retirement

Japanese wrestler Saori Yoshida, winner of gold medals in women's wrestling at three consecutive Olympic Games, announced her retirement from competition on Tuesday.

Yoshida, 36, who is also the recipient of a People's Honor Award, revealed her decision on her Twitter account: "I have decided to end my 33 years as a competitive wrestler."

She is planning to hold a press conference soon to explain why and how she made the decision.
