Olympic Holidays extends Black Friday offers to cope with expected bookings boom

Tour operator Olympic Holidays is extending its Black Friday deals to cope with an expected rush to book getaways following the end of the second lockdown in England.

Customers now have until December 7 to book forthcoming breaks with offers including transfers for £1, various discounts and room upgrades.

Popular destinations include Rhodes, Zante, Kefalonia, Skiathos and Cyprus with Symi, Lanzarote and Rhodes showing the biggest year-on-year increases with May, June and July most-favoured departure dates.

Olympic Holidays ' managing director Michael Vinales said: “Following a number of conversations with various partners in recent days and taking on board their feedback, we are delighted to extend our Black Friday deals.

"What we’ve seen up till now is really positive and likely down to a number of things – firstly and most importantly a huge pent-up desire to travel.

“Other factors include the great number of deals to be had, reduction in quarantine time, news of the vaccine and we are sure that our £89pp deposit is proving attractive along with the variety of airlines and departure points across the UK our guests can travel from.

“Let’s hope all this combined is giving consumers real confidence to book and bring a much-needed boost to the travel industry.”
