Olympic diving star Tom Daley shares rare snap of son Robbie as they take trip to pool

Tom Daley treated fans to a rare snap of his son Robbie on social media on Tuesday.

The Olympic diving star, 27, shares his little one with his husband Dustin Lance Black, 45, with the couple welcomeing Robbie through surrogacy in 2018.

And this week, swimming sensation Tom took his mini-me to the London Aquatics Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.

During the day out he captured several snaps of his son being in awe of the two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool.

Tom seemed pleased to show Robbie around the location that saw him take home a bronze medal in 2012 as he held his hand as they posed at the top of the high diving board.

In the second Instagram offering, the father and son observed the large swimming pool from the sidelines.

Water lover Tom sported tiny neon orange speedos decorated with a navy pattern in the snaps and looked happy to be sharing the experience with Robbie.

Alongside the post, Tom shared the conversation he and Robbie, who looked cute in a Tokyo Olympics T-shirt, had by penning: "Papa: It’s high up here isn’t it?!" alongside a grimacing emoji.

He added his son's reply by writing: "Robbie: A little bit, but not really!"

Before adding a shocked emoji next to his next response followed by a smiling one to illustrate his son's face at the moment.

Fans rushed to the comments to share their hope that Robbie will be following in his dad's footsteps and taking to the water.

One gushed: "Uh oh..... He's got a head for heights. He's going to follow in Papa's footsteps perhaps. Adorable xx."

A second joined in: "ahh he's ready to dive."

Another added: "Future diver!!!"
