Olympic diver Tom Daley has finally shown us all how to properly use a soya sauce bottle.
And for those who were always puzzled about the shape and design of it, this tip will blow your mind.
Plymouth born Tom, 26, who has always been a dab hand in the kitchen and has even written a series of recipe books in the past, admitted he couldn't get over his discovery.
Soya sauce bottles are designed with two little holes at the top of the bottle.
Those who like to put some extra salty flavouring on their meals, have thought in the past that these were two separate spouts are to allow you to pour smoothly from one end or another depending on whether you were left or right handed.
Now however, Tom and others who are in the know, have revealed that the two holes are a special design feature created by soya sauce manufacturers Kikkoman, which allow you to control with precision the flow of the sauce as you pour.
Simply put one finger over a hole and you will be able to control how fast it pours from the other hole. Even down to a single drop!
As he demonstrated the technique on his Instagram page Tom himself admitted: "My mind is blown every time."
The only thing that remains in our mind is, 'How do you keep the bottle clean if you are using it in a restaurant and someone's grubby hands have been all over it? '
