Speculation has resurfaced linking Nottingham Forest ace Joao Carvalho with a January move to Olympiacos.
There has been plenty of talk this month about the Reds midfielder being on the radar of the fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club, as well as Turkish side Trabzonspor.
And according to Greek media outlet SDNA, that interest has been sparked again amid suggestions one-time Forest target Daniel Podence could leave Olympiacos for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Carvalho, it is said, could be a potential replacement.
The report claims: “Developments are underway at Olympiacos, and Daniel Podence’s impending transfer to Wolves paves the way for Joao Carvalho’s acquisition.”
“If the scenario with Carvalho does not progress again, then Olympiacos will look to the market for extravagance,” SDNA add.
The Portuguese has found himself in and out of the team under Reds head coach Sabri Lamouchi this season.

He has made 21 appearances, scoring twice, but has started just eight Championship games.
Lamouchi, though, has insisted amid the speculation about Carvalho’s future that he remains an important part of his plans.
“For me, he is a Forest player,” he has said.
“He knows exactly what I am waiting for from him. I need more.
“He is a fantastic player.
“He needs to help us. He needs to help the club. He needs to help his teammates.
“He knows his level. He knows what I am waiting for from him.
“I don’t have any problem with him.
“But him, and all of them, they are not my friends, they are my players.
“We want to achieve our goals, so we have to be tough, work hard and keep going.
“He is a Forest player.”
