After stripping naked in a spinny chair last year, Olly Murs had to go one step further to celebrate his second win on The Voice.
The “double champ” coach steered contestant Blessing Chitapa to victory on Saturday’s show, and after pledging to better last year’s celebrations, Olly performed a striptease with a winner’s medal covering his modesty.
Much to the delight of his girlfriend, Amelia Tank, tasked with filming his naked victory dance yesterday...
“She’s like: ‘Do you REALLY need to be doing this?’” laughs Olly. “It’s a winner’s dance - I won! It’s funny.
“I do it to entertain people, hopefully they find it funny. I said I’d do it, so I have to go through with it.”
Although former X Factor contestant Olly admits even he is surprised to be on such a winning, er, streak.
“I show them how to win a show, but I didn’t even win the show,” he laughs, having finished runner up to Joe McElderry on the X Factor in 2009.
“I suppose I give them the tools they need to win, which I’ve learnt over the years.
“I think me knowing the format, how it works and me having been in their shoes really helps.”
Although, he admits, having posed nude in Sir Tom Jones’ chair, and performed an entire routine in the buff, he’s set himself quite a precedent.
“If I win again... ooh, I don’t know,” he admits.
Suffice to say, it’ll involve nudity. Sorry, Amelia.
