Olly Murs says Caroline Flack's death 'doesn't feel real' as he opens up on Loose Women

Olly Murs was emotional today as he spoke about how he was coping in the wake of losing his friend Caroline Flack.

Olly, 35, spoke to the Loose Women panel about the loss of his former colleague Caroline.

Caroline died on February 15, with a spokesperson for her family confirming she had taken her own life.

He said: "It's been tough it doesn't make sense to me yet.

"It was such a massive shock, the last couple of weeks just haven't seemed real.

"It's been tough, I never thought I'd never see her again. I love her and I miss her to bits."

Olly said his friends and family had been helping him cope with his grief and said he had been keeping busy with work.

Olly also spoke about his new girlfriend Amelia Tank and how in love he was.

He said: "She's been so amazing, especially these last few weeks, I was on holiday with her family when I found out about Caroline and they were incredible.

"But even before that with my knee operation, I couldn't really date her properly and take her out to places, we just had an instant connection.

"I'm genuinely really happy, hopefully she stays with me, because I hated being single in the end."

*Loose Women continues at 12:30pm on Monday
