Olly Murs broke down in tears on The Voice UK on Saturday night after a contestant’s performance brought memories of his dear friend Caroline Flack flooding back.
The singer appeared to remember Caroline, who tragically died in February, during Doug Sure’s performance of Jorja Smith's Don't Watch Me Cry on the Knock Outs episode.
Following the stunning rendition, Olly’s voice broke through his tears as he said: "That was just... I'm speechless.
"I lost a good friend recently…” before losing the ability to speak as he burst into tears.

The star seemed overcome with emotion as he held his had to his face while thinking about Caroline’s devastating death in the pre recorded episode.
The Voice star, 35, was close friends with TV presenter Caroline.
The pair got to know each other when they presented X Factor spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
They later went on to present the main show together in 2015.

The Love Island presenter died at the age of 40 after taking her own life.
Fans of The Voice UK were heartbroken by Olly’s raw emotion, many in floods of tears themselves.
One took to Twitter to confess: ”Olly crying over Caroline really got me," while another said: “Tears falling down my face. Feel for Olly Murs. God bless Caroline Flack."
A third added: "Beautiful performance! So sad seeing Olly cry over Caroline."
Olly previously broke down on Loose Women after saying he wanted to talk about his friend at the star of an episode he was appearing on shortly after Caroline’s death.
Andrea McLean had asked Olly: "We wanted to say from us, just how sorry we were to hear about the death of your friend Caroline. How are you?"
The singer’s eyes filled with tears as he emotionally admitted: "It's been tough, it doesn't make sense to me.
"It was a massive shock.
"I was on holiday at the time so, yeah, the last couple of weeks has just been a bit... yeah.
"Its so hard to even talk about it."
