Olly Murs and Louise Redknapp to headline second Caroline Flack tribute festival

Caroline Flack's close friends Louise Redknapp and Olly Murs will be headlining Flackstock Festival three years after her death.

She lost her life to suicide at the age of 40 on 15 February 2020 and in the wake of her tragic death, one of her final social media posts went on to influence the 'Be Kind' movement.

Since her death, her pals banded together to create Flackstock Festival in honour of the TV presenter.

Last year's festival, which featured performances from Ronan Keating and Tom Grennan, was a huge success and will be returning this summer.

Among the acts confirmed for the event on July 24 at Englefield House in Berkshire are Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jason Manford and The Feeling.

Dean Matrona and JP Cooper have also been confirmed to perform at the festival.

Other appearances include Matt Richardson, Charlie Mackesy and BBC Strictly dancer's Janette Manrara and Aljaz Škorjanec.

All Saints star Mel Blatt, Denise Van Outen and Steve Proud will be the celebrity DJs on the day.

It was confirmed on December 14 that the intimate day festival celebrating Caroline’s life with comedy, dance and musical acts, will return for its second year.

The event is organised by a committee including Caroline’s mother Christine and sister Jody, her friends Natalie Pinkham, Dawn O’Porter, Anna Blue, Sarah Tyekiff, and Leigh and Jill Francis.

Speaking at the time the committee, which is made up of Caroline's friends and family, said: "Flackstock was an incredible way to remember our friend Caroline, but it became so much more than that – a place full of joy where people felt comfortable talking about mental health.

Confirming the news in an Instagram post, Flackstock wrote: "FLACKSTOCK IS BACK!!!!
