Ollie Horgan says that Finn Harps still believe despite worrying start

Ollie Horgan claims that Finn Harps' belief system remains strong despite their worrying start to the season.

Promoted from the First Division for this season, the Donegal side are propping up the top flight table and are already 15 points adrift of Bohemians, who provide the opposition in Ballybofey tonight.

To compound Horgan's problems, the suspended Colm Deasy is added to an absentee list that still includes injured quintet Harry Ascroft, Mark Timlin, Sean Boyd, Gareth Harkin and Raffaele Cretaro.

“We haven’t won a game and that’s a fact that we cant get away from going into the Bohs match," said the Harps boss.

"But the players still very much believe in themselves and will go out to win the game.

Kevin Doyle thinks John Caulfield has already accepted playing second fiddle to Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers

"Now, being realistic about it, not many will give us a chance of doing that. We have moved on from the Derry defeat and the focus has been on the Bohemians game since Saturday.

"They're a very good side, Keith Long and Trevor Croly have an excellent pool of players.

"They've only lost once this season so it’s going to be a really tough one for us to get a result."

Horgan points out that their first meeting this season, at Dalymount Park, was a close affair and Harps only lost 1-0 - but adds that one opening apart, his team failed to create a chance.
