Celtic loanee Olivier Ntcham 's Marseille spell has went from bad to worse as he was substituted at the break for the third time in as many games.
The Frenchman was taken off at half-time previously against Lille and again at fourth-tier Canet Roussillon in the French Cup as the Ligue 1 giants were humbled by the minnows.
Since that humiliation Jorge Sampaoli has been appointed as manager at the Velodrome and has given the 25-year-old a second chance in the first-team.
However, against OGC the new boss took the step to replace Ntcham with Luis Enrique at the break.
It didn't help matters though as Marseille crashed to a 3-0 defeat, further denting their hopes of a top four finish.
The midfielder left Celtic Park on loan on Deadline Day with an option to buy but the move immediately caused controversy.
An interview in which Ntcham professed his support for arch-rivals Paris Saint-Germain infuriated supporters but there was worse to come.
Coach Andre Villas-Boas offered his resignation as he insisted he had specifically said no to the Celtic midfielder.
The Portuguese was suspended and later fired by the club but Ntcham has struggled to break into the team making just four appearances in all competitions.
