Olivier Ntcham issued stark Celtic warning as Neil Lennon plans showdown talks with wantaway star

Neil Lennon will hold showdown talks with Olivier Ntcham when the wantaway midfielder returns to Glasgow

The 23-year-old French midfielder let rip on life at Parkhead and said he wished the club accepted Porto's bid for him last summer. The former Manchester City man has also been talking up a move to Marseiile while away on international duty.

And those explosive comments have irked Lennon and he will sit down with Ntcham after Celtic 's Champions League qualifier in Sarajevo.

He said: "That will be addressed when Olivier comes back."

"I think it is fair to say that a lot of us, would it be management, players or people at the club were not satisfied with the comments

"When I speak to Olivier it will be done privately but you can imagine, we find the comments untimely and not particularly accurate.

"He still has a future (at Celtic), he is under contract.

"But I will be speaking to him about his mindset and his attitude toward the club as well which, the way it came across, didn't look good."

Ntcham blasted Scottish football and claimed it not challenging enough, saying: "We can do as many matches as we want but, with all due respect for my opponents, if the level in front is not high, you do not progress."

The Hoops are in Bosnia for their Euro opener and will be without Marian Shved and Jack Hendry after the pair suffered training ground injuries on Monday.
