Southampton are chasing Celtic star Olivier Ntcham to replace want-away captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Saints are resigned to losing Spurs and Everton target Hojbjerg at the end of this season after the Dane publicly expressed his desire to play in the Champions League.
Ntcham, 24, has become a key player for Celtic since a £4.5million move from Manchester City in 2017.
After causing controversy with an interview in his native France that suggested he wanted to leave the club, he forced his way back into Neil Lennon 's plans and scored a late winner away to Lazio in the Europa League.
He wouldn't be the first Hoops star to make the move to Southampton, with Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama, Fraser Forster and Stuart Armstrong all moving to the Premier League side.
Meanwhile, Celtic are being linked with a move for Waasland-Beveren centre-back Aleksandar Vukotic.
With the Belgian season coming to an end Beveren were relegated, which could lead to an exodus of their stars.
According to Le Soir, Vukotic is one of the players keen to leave even though he has a further three years on his contract.
While Mechelen are in pole position and have already started negotiations, the outlet reports that Celtic are also showing an interest.
