Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is a target for Ligue 1 side Nice - according to a report in France.
Le10sport claim the 24-year-old Hoops star is high on their signing agenda as they put together their summer transfer wishlist.
And a return to his homeland would reunite Ntcham with his mentor and idol Patrick Vieira - who was in charge of him during his days in the Manchester City academy.
But Celtic hold all the cards with Ntcham under contract until 2022 with the likes of Porto and Marseille keeping close tabs on his development.
The former France U21 star has reestablished himself as an important player at Celtic under Neil Lennon after feeling the wrath of his manager in the wake of a tell-all interview in France last summer.
Ntcham bounced back, however, and netted the winner in Celtic's thrilling 2-1 win over Lazio back in November to book their place in the last 32 of the Europa League.
But the player himself is a huge admirer of Vieira and raved about the Arsenal legend when he was on the verge of taking the reins in the Riviera.
Speaking to L’Equipe in 2018, he said: “He has a very clear idea of the football he wants. Vieira is more like a Spanish coach.
“He has this philosophy. Even with young players, at City, we played a certain way. To suit his game playing with the ball, it is all about short circuit and repetition, in a defined tactical framework.
“But it goes through the short game first. He is very focused on the tactical aspect. With the defenders and their positions in particular.
“He gives the attacking players freedom. For us, there is a lot to take on board, the first touch, the position of the body in relation to the ball. It’s something simple.
“He is poised, calm, open to discussion. He tells you things, there is no ambiguity."
