Olivier Ntcham in Marseille blunder as Celtic loanee earns ire of fans after PSG admission

Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has attracted criticism from fans of new club Marseille after he admitted he was a PSG fan.

The Frenchman returned to his homeland on loan with an option to buy and Marseille supporters weren't too impressed when an old interview surfaced.

He spoke about being a PSG fan in it and that has attracted some abuse on social media with may unhappy that he appears to be such a big supporter of the French champions.

Celtic allowed Ntcham to leave Neil Lennon's squad and go to Marseille with the Hoops boss admitting he's been wanting to leave for two years.

And - reported by the Daily Record - an old interview surfaced where he said: "I am a supporter of Paris Saint-Germain and I have always been.

"They are a team that I follow regularly, I try to watch all the matches, I support them. When they score, it does something to me."

That resulted in criticism from fans of his new side and he could even make his home debut against the cash-rich Parisians at the weekend.
