Confident Olivier Ntcham insists he will be an "asset" to Marseille after the loan signing plunged the Ligue 1 club into chaos.
It's been a tough few days for the Celtic loanee after new boss Andre Villas-Boas attempted to resign over the midfielder's arrival.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham coach claimed that he said no to signing the player and has been suspended by club bosses after the shock outburst.
However, the ex- Manchester City youngster insists it has been "a great pleasure" to sign with the Marseille in his first club interview.
He said: "Olympique de Marseille is the biggest club in France, with the greatest fervor and the greatest supporters.

"They have accomplished great things in French and European football too.
“It's the first time I've come to Ligue 1, it's a new experience.
"It's a very big championship with very great teams who have had good runs in the Champions League and the Europa League. It's a new challenge for me."
He believes his experience at a top European level while playing with the Hoops will mean he can be a key player for the French side.
“Having a player like me who has played a lot in the Champions League or the Europa League, I think that's always an asset.
"I'm going to bring my personality already (in the locker room), energize it, bring a lot of positivity, I hope we will do great things together. "
After Ntcham's deadline day and they hold an option to make the move permanent for a fee in the region of £5.5m.
