Porto could be ready to enter a bidding war with Marseille for Celtic star Olivier Ntcham.
Record Sport can reveal the Portuguese big guns sent a scout to run the rule over the midfielder while he was playing for France Under-21s against Belgium on Monday night.
Ntcham came off the bench for the last 15 minutes of the win.
But it’s understood that was enough to convince Porto to gear up for another attempt at landing him after their failed bid last summer.
Porto have been made aware of Marseille’s interest in Ntcham and are closely monitoring developments.
The 23-year-old is believed to be keen on the idea of a return to his homeland but Porto believe they can lure him with the promise of Champions League football next term.
