Olivier Giroud has thanked Chelsea fans as he leaves the Blues with a "happy heart" after three years at the club.
The striker's contract ran out in the transfer window and the club he will be playing for next season has not been confirmed.
However, the 34-year-old is expected to sign for Serie A side AC Milan in coming days.
Giroud, who was involved in France's underwhelming Euro 2020 campaign, ended his career at Chelsea perfectly as he lifted the Champions League trophy with the club.
He wrote on Twitter : "To all the Blues, to my teammates, to all my coaches, to the whole club, a huge thank you for these special moments.

"I'm starting a new journey with a light and happy heart. Our victories in Fa Cup, Europa League and Champions league have been magnificent. Love Oli G."
It's been widely reported that Giroud is in Milan completing his medical before he announces a two-year deal with the club.
The contract is thought to be worth €1m (£855,000) with an additional €1m (£855,000) to be added on depending on appearances and Champions League qualification.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been looking at a long list of replacements for Giroud and he is keen to sign a star.
It's been said the Blues are interested in Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Tottenham's Harry Kane as Tuchel wants the club to be scoring more goals.
He said in April: "We need more goals and we rely on anybody and we want to trust anybody who is capable of scoring.
"But you just need to read the numbers, our top scorers have six goals. This is clearly not enough for the demands, the expectations and the targets Chelsea football club has and what we demand.
"I say this without any anger and without being rude to any of the offensive guys, I think they're very well aware of it.”
However, as per the BBC, Dortmund do not want to sell their key man this summer.
And Kane is looking poised to sign for Manchester City, though new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to keep the England captain at the side.
He said: "Kane is a Tottenham player, our player, period. There’s nothing to add.
"Now is the moment for Harry to recover. When he comes back, we will speak. I’m looking forward to Harry joining the group and us working together."
