Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud says he 'feels good' after training with Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic for the first time.
The Frenchman is currently on pre-season tour with the Blues and there are a few new faces to get to used to in his second summer with the club.
The likes of new signing Christian Pulisic, the returning Kenedy and youngster Mason Mount have all featured alongside Giroud in the club’s pre-season friendlies with Bohemians, St Patrick’s Athletic and most recently, Kawasaki Frontale.
While he's optimistic about what lies ahead, Giroud admits it will take a little time to strike a relationship with those newcomers on the pitch.
The striker also revealed the tactical approach Frank Lampard is adopting ahead of the new season.
“We’re working on the tactics when we don’t have the ball and playing this 4-2-3-1 we have to know each other a bit better as well,” he told Chelsea’s official website .
“This was the first time I’ve played with Christian, with Mason and with Kenedy so obviously it will take time but we feel good.

“We believe in the gaffer because he’s the right man for this situation.”
Giroud also opened up on Frank Lampard and how the new Chelsea boss plans to get the very best out of his squad going into the new season.
“It seems very clear that he wants the best from us,” he added.
“He wants to help us improve and he has a clear idea of what he wants to achieve. He’s a competitor, he wants to win every single game.
“He repeats every day that we have to take responsibility and we have to show personality. He’s insisting a lot on this kind of stuff, playing without fear but with confidence. I think we will learn quickly.”
