Olivia Dean dominates Mobo Awards with three major wins

  • Olivia Dean was the biggest winner at the 30th anniversary Mobo Awards, held at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, securing three major accolades.
  • Dean was honoured with Song of the Year for “Man I Need”, Album of the Year for The Art of Loving and Best Female Act.
  • British-American rapper and record producer Slick Rick received the prestigious Mobo lifetime achievement award, while American musician Pharrell Williams was presented with the Global Songwriter Award.
  • Nineteen-year-old DC3 won two awards for Best Newcomer and Best Gospel, and Ezra Collective was named Best Jazz Act.
  • Actor Stephen Graham received an award for Best Performance in a TV Show or Film for his role in 'Adolescence', as stars reiterated the enduring significance of the awards three decades after their inception.
