Olivia Bowen gushes over 'forever' promise husband Alex has kept since Love Island

Olivia Bowen has admitted husband Alex has kept his one "forever" promise he made when they met on Love Island.

The former finalists have been married since 2018 after falling in love on series two of the ITV dating show in 2016.

And after a year of marriage, it seems Alex, 27, has proved to be the perfect husband as he still brings his beloved wife a cup of tea every morning, according to Olivia.

He made the sweet promise back in the Mallorcan villa and told Olivia, 26, it would be "forever".

She told fans over Twitter as one tweeted the Love Island beauty saying: "Rewatching old love island and @OliviaDBuck said she wants tea every morning and Alex says "forever?" And it is forever now, my heart".

And Liv's adorable response left fans gushing over their favourite couple once again.

"I get asked this a lot, and he does still bring me tea every single morning without fail. @ab_bowen07 [heart emoji]" she penned back.

It appeared to be too much to handle for the couple's super fans, as one wrote back: "Oh my god, I love them"

Another shared: "Aww that's so cute!"

While a third hilariously joked: "Does he have a brother??? Asking for a friend [laughing emoji]".

Much to her disappointment, another commented back: "he's an only child".

Olivia and Alex have been holed up in their beautiful Essex mansion during lockdown, which they recently moved into.

The pair have been making the most of their time together and appear to be closer than ever.

They've been sharing loved-up selfies while in quarantine and Liv even jumped on the bandwagon of sharing the first ever photo she took with her now-husband.

Nominated as part of a social media challenge, the Essex beauty unveiled an adorable black and white shot where the lovebirds snuggled together after leaving the show.

"This was the first ever selfie we took when we got our phones back after love island in 2016. Madddd," she wrote alongside her Instagram  Story.

Fast forward to 2020 and almost two years on from tying the knot, the pair are happier than ever as they go from strength to strength.
